Tactics (タクティクス Takutikusu?) was a militaristic Cleaner organization overseen by Klay Arslan. It was disbanded after his arrest.

Fiction

Digimon Beatbreak

Klay Arslan founded Tactics in order to gather people with powerful e-Pulse as part of his plan to get Proganomon to digivolve to Mega in order to overthrow Chairman Wong.[citation needed] Seraphy Naito has been a member since its founding.[1] Tactics main operations involve the capture, trafficking, and when necessary assassination of Owners and their Digimon. One of their primary facilities is the Hidden Colosseum, which functions as revenue generation, a source for e-Pulse extracted from detained competitors, and a horrifying punishment for those who fail missions or attempt to quit the organization. Those who lose in the Colosseum are intentionally Cold Hearted so their e-Pulse can eventually be absorbed by Proganomon's countless fake Sapotamas in order to digivolve to Mega.

The organization is characterized by simultaneous ruthless hierarchy and hubris—the teams act in harsh competition with each other to achieve higher rank in the organization, with little empathy for other teams or even members of their own team. To their unjustified surprise, Klay views his top enforcers, like Naito and Team Seven, to be just as consumable as the lower-rank peons and victims they themselves look down on, and he fully intends to cannibalize the entire organization as part of his plan.

As of 2050, Naito was recruiting and training team members. Tactics The suicidal Granit was invited to join Tactics after he and Ludomon defeated many of Naito's troops, under the promise of one day being ordered to sacrifice his life for Naito. The One Beside You Hotaruko Kanuma joined to pay the debts from the accident caused by Syakomon's birth. Defiance Raito Souda and Monodramon eventually joined Tactics. Together, these six were assigned to Team Seven (チームセブン Chīmu Sebun?), Tactics's youngest team. Tactics

Team Seven is deployed to Nijishima Shopping Mall to capture the Bomber and his BomberNanimon, where they first encounter Glowing Dawn. They decide to wait until Glowing Dawn defeats the criminals in order to covertly steal the bounty, but despite successfully doing so, Naito scolds them for arriving three minutes late while Klay orders them to store the Bomber and his Bommon. Five Star Meeting

During a Tactics group training session, Naito uses Team Seven to illustrate proper e-Pulse control to the other troops. Later, Naito deploys Team Seven to capture a rogue Snimon, but orders them to allow it to digivolve before capturing it. At the park, Hotaruko weakly protests Raito's plan to use Yosuke and Koji as bait for Snimon, but is overruled. Snimon is able to digivolve to Scorpiomon while Team Seven intercepts Glowing Dawn, officially revealing themselves to the Cleaners, and they use their digivolved partners to push Scorpiomon into the Mirror World as Glowing Dawn gives chase. Naito gives Team Seven five minutes to complete the capture. However, the bounty is retrieved by Glowing Dawn when Raito delays withdrawal to watch Naito battle Kyo Sawashiro. Tactics

Next, Granit and Ludomon are sent to capture Manabu Akasaka's Moosemon. During battle, Moosemon opens a rift to the Real World, trapping Reina Sakuya, Pristimon, Granit, and Ludomon on a frigid mountain outside Japan, unable to call for help. The rest of Team Seven fruitlessly goes to Garando to look for info, but learns Akasaka would not yet confess. Meanwhile, the stragglers cooperate to survive in what turns out to be Akasaka's shack, and when Moosemon attacks again they are able to provoke it into opening a second rift. Granit's report about the shack allows Tactics to retrieve the stolen jewels. Where I Belong

Later, Raito and Hotaruko are sent to capture a Monmon, but although the two successfully capture the Digimon and its Owner, Hotaruko's carelessness in battle nearly injures her siblings, who were walking nearby. Fortunately, Makoto and Chiropmon save them, and Hotaruko is guilted into hosting Glowing Dawn at her family's restaurant, resulting in a string of events where Hotaruko retrieves the Sapotamas of a wild Burgermon and Burpmon. Antipathy

As part of the bounty placed on Klay, Tactics is targeted for dissolution. Klay orders the troops be mobilized for the coup against Wong, but the bulk of the organization is swiftly dismantled by the other Five Stars. Team Seven resigns and Naito is defeated by Kyo. Defiance Pressed into a corner, Klay has Proganomon drain Naito in order to use his e-Pulse to digivolve to Pyramidimon. The Power to Take
